Editorial Obsessions

By Madelyn Herrera

Editorial Obsessions is a weekly round-up showcasing our team’s latest obsessions – from our favourite late-night snacks to the most binge-worthy shows to life-changing beauty products.

SUMMER FRIDAY’S NEW ICED COFFEE FLAVOUR

Our team already owns the original vanilla, vanilla beige, and cherry tints, but we were excited to try the new iced coffee flavour that just dropped on June 6. This lip balm is 100% vegan and acts as a hydrating balm while giving a glossy finish that we’re obsessed with. It also smells amazing, and who wouldn’t want the sweet smell of iced coffee on their lips?

‘HIT ME HARD AND SOFT’ BY BILLIE EILISH

Billie Eillish has done it again with her latest album Hit me Hard and Soft featuring ten tracks that provoke all the emotions. One second you're head bopping to ‘Chihiro’ and the next you're crying over your closest friendships while ‘Birds of a Feather’ is playing on repeat. This album truly makes you go through all the emotions in the span of forty three minutes. It will definitely be an obsession for the foreseeable future.

LOVE ISLAND

From the moment season ten ended last summer, our team has been counting down the days for the summer of love to return to our screens and the wait is finally over. You better believe our team will be sat at 10pm Sunday through Friday watching every episode of Love Island. We can’t wait for the drama to unfold and our lives to revolve around ten hot single people finding love in a villa.

PISTACHIO LATTE FROM BLANK STREET COFFEE

Of course we had to include our current coffee obsession, which is the pistachio latte from Blank Street Coffee. The slightly sweet, deliciously nutty pistachio flavour is a great way to make your usual coffee order a bit more exciting. If you don’t like it too sugary but still want to change things up, this creamy, silky drink might just be for you. We know we can’t get enough of it.

‘SENTIMENTAL GARBAGE’ PODCAST

Here at Girl Dinner Magazine we love a great podcast, and that’s exactly what this is. Sentimental Garbage is a podcast hosted by Caroline O’Donoghue about indulging in being a woman without feeling ashamed about it. Caroline is so funny and it is so refreshing to listen to women talk about their favourite things out loud without judgement. If you’re looking for your next listen while on your commute to work, press play on this podcast and find out why we love it so much!
